Arrive makeup-free – Ensure the areola area is free from makeup or lotion.
Avoid sweating – Avoid activities that may cause excessive perspiration.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing – Choose clothing that provides easy access to the treatment area without irritation.

No caffeine or alcohol—these can thin the blood and affect the healing process.
Eat a well-balanced meal before your appointment to maintain energy levels.
Hydrate—drink plenty of water for optimal skin health.

Avoid blood thinners (Aspirin, Advil/Ibuprofen, Niacin, Vitamin E, Fish/Primrose Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, and “Hair, Skin, and Nail” supplements). Tylenol is OK.
Avoid exfoliating – Refrain from exfoliating around the areola area to avoid skin irritation.

No tanning— *if you arrive with sunburn or noticeable tan lines, your appointment may need to be rescheduled, and you will forfeit your scheduling fee.
Avoid chemical exfoliants – Do not use harsh exfoliating products or retinoids on the skin around the areola.
No waxing – Avoid any hair removal procedures near the treatment area.

No antibiotics—schedule any necessary antibiotics well in advance.

Avoid Botox or fillers – Refrain from Botox or dermal fillers in the chest or areola area for at least 4 weeks before your appointment.
No chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or laser treatments – Do not undergo any exfoliating treatments or facials for one month before and after the procedure.
